Job Location: Poole, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, £13.33 – £14.35 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.30am - 4pm & Friday 7.30am - 1pm

An opportunity has arisen for an established engineering company based in Poole. The company are going through a period growth where they have an established order book for the next 10 years and still growing!

To meet customer demands they are now looking to add to the engineering team and are recruiting for a Production Support Operative .

The company are undertaking new build and repairs on products for the automotive industry (special purpose vehicles). They take pride in their products that they are built to a high spec and even repairs are made to a ‘like new’ standard.

Your role will be to make sure all the parts required of these builds are picked up from stores, cleaned and ready to be introduced into production for use in building the units.

This is nice and important role within the company.

• Pick parts for the assembly department


• Clean down the parts and operating machines that wash the parts


• Unloading machines and laying out the parts ready for assembly


• Making sure production has all the parts they need

• Have experience of working in a manufacturing / engineering / production environment


• Happy working in a repetitive role


• Able to work at a fast paced to ensure parts are ready for the assembly team
