The Role

We’re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in doing simple things properly and is interested in taking on more responsibility over time.

This is a hands\-on role across our warehouse and food\-production operation. The work is physical and sometimes repetitive, but it is essential to keeping the business running smoothly.

You’ll initially work closely with our Production Manager, learning how the warehouse and production operation works as a whole. For the right person, the role will develop into becoming a dependable second\-in\-command with a pay increase to reflect that: someone who can take ownership of day\-to\-day warehouse activities and provide cover during periods of planned leave.

This would suit someone who is focused, practical and organised, with the confidence to spot what needs doing and follow it through.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately


• Preparing wholesale orders and building pallets


• Printing and applying shipping labels


• Receiving deliveries and putting stock away correctly


• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and easy to work from


• Managing stock rotation and maintaining accurate stock organisation


• Supporting food\-production runs


• Setting up, operating and cleaning production equipment


• Learning to assemble and use, break down and clean the equipment


• Lifting and moving ingredients and materials weighing up to 25kg


• Washing and preparing buckets, tools, machinery and other equipment


• Completing repetitive tasks accurately and consistently


• Identifying cleaning, stock or organisational jobs that need attention


• Gradually taking ownership of day\-to\-day warehouse activities


• Providing practical warehouse and production cover during planned staff leave once fully trained

• Comfortable with physical and repetitive work


• Willing to clean and maintain high standards every day


• Able to follow systems and instructions properly


• Organised and able to see what needs to be done across a working warehouse


• Comfortable learning how equipment is assembled, operated and cleaned


• Dependable and capable of taking responsibility when required


• Able to work independently once trained


• Good communication and a positive, straightforward attitude


• Interested in learning the operation and developing within the role

Important

• Full shifts are 8:00am–4:00pm


• Minimum availability of four days per week


• Some flexibility to work five days when required


• The role involves regular lifting and physical work


• You must have the right to work in Ireland

Nice to Have but Not Essential

• Previous warehouse or food\-production experience


• Experience receiving and checking deliveries


• Pallet\-truck or forklift experience


• A forklift licence


• Experience setting up or operating food\-production equipment

Forklift training may be provided for the right person.
