We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead our pallet manufacturing operations at our Rainham site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing production activities, managing teams, ensuring health and safety compliance, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production teams to achieve daily output and delivery targets.


• Ensure compliance with Health \& Safety policies and promote a strong safety culture.


• Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment to maximise efficiency.


• Monitor production schedules and resolve operational issues.


• Maintain high quality standards and ensure products meet customer specifications.


• Manage stock accuracy and ensure sufficient material availability.


• Coach, develop, and motivate team members to achieve high performance.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.


• Support recruitment, training, and performance management activities.


• Work closely with internal teams and customers to meet business objectives.

You will have:

• Previous supervisory or management experience within a manufacturing environment.


• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.


• A proven track record of improving productivity through KPI management.


• Excellent problem\-solving and decision\-making abilities.


• A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.


• Knowledge of IOSH/NEBOSH principles, ISO 14001, and manufacturing processes (desirable).
