About Us

We are a specialist vehicle manufacturer producing Blue and Amber light vehicles. With a factory team of currently around 20 skilled workers, we design and build high\-quality bespoke vehicles for customers across multiple industries.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a growing factories operations, production planning, budgets, and workforce performance while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Role Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the day\-to\-day management of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production of all vehicles while maintaining cost control, quality standards, and workforce productivity.

This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and financial management experience within a manufacturing or vehicle build environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily factory operations.


• Manage and lead a workforce of approximately 20 employees across production, engineering, and support teams.


• Plan and coordinate vehicle builds from concept through to completion.


• Manage operational budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets.


• Implement production schedules to ensure on\-time delivery of vehicles.


• Monitor quality control standards across all builds.


• Improve efficiency, productivity, and manufacturing processes.


• Ensure compliance with health \& safety regulations and industry standards.


• Work closely with senior management to support business growth and operational strategy.


• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.

• Proven experience as a Production Manager, or Manufacturing Manager.


• Experience in vehicle manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, or similar production environments.


• Strong leadership experience.


• Experience managing budgets and operational costs.


• Excellent organisational, problem\-solving, and communication skills.


• Strong understanding of production planning and manufacturing processes.


• Knowledge of health \& safety regulations in manufacturing.

• Experience in specialist vehicle builds, coachbuilding, automotive manufacturing, or fabrication.


• Engineering or manufacturing qualifications.
