Production Manager
Rotational Mouldings Group Ltd are a well\-established manufacturing business operating across three North West sites in Rochdale, Bradford and Furness Vale, specialising in the production of plastic products through the rotational moulding process. With a strong reputation for quality, reliability and innovation, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Production / Fabrication Manager to lead their workshop and production operations. The role offers a hands\-on leadership opportunity within a fast\-paced manufacturing environment, supported by a competitive benefits package including private medical insurance, company pension and on\-site parking.
Reporting directly into senior management, you will take responsibility for the day\-to\-day running of fabrication and production operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. You will oversee workshop activities, lead and motivate fabrication teams, support production planning and resource allocation, and work closely with purchasing, quality and sales teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Alongside managing productivity and performance, you’ll also play a key role in costing and estimating fabrication work, supplier liaison, continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high standards of health \& safety, quality and housekeeping throughout the workshop.
To be considered, you will need proven experience within a fabrication or manufacturing management role, ideally with fabrication design experience and a strong background working with stainless steel and mild steel fabrication. You should be commercially aware with experience in costing, estimating and production control, alongside the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently. We are looking for a proactive, hands\-on leader with strong communication and organisational skills, a good understanding of welding and fabrication processes, and a track record of driving operational efficiencies and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
