Salary: £35,000–£40,000 \+ paid day rate for event work \+ performance bonuses
Location: Biggin Hill office/warehouse \+ event sites
The Role
This role combines key client management, quoting, planning, and project ownership across high\-end weddings and corporate events. It suits someone who enjoys taking responsibility for projects, shaping how they’re delivered, and ensuring they are commercially and operationally successful.
You’ll take ownership of projects from enquiry through to delivery, with a strong focus on quoting, budgeting, planning, and client management, while overseeing delivery on site.
We're looking for someone with experience in events, production, or project delivery who wants responsibility, progression, and long\-term development within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Project Ownership
- Take ownership of projects from enquiry through to delivery
- Act as the main point of contact for clients on assigned jobs
- Take responsibility for the overall success of each project
- Produce detailed, accurate quotes for high\-end events
- Ensure each project is well costed, with a realistic budget for expenses
- Balance creative ambition with realistic delivery
- Work with the creative and technical teams to develop event proposals
- Produce floor plans, schedules and planning documentation where required
- Manage equipment, crew and supplier requirements
- Work with the wider team to ensure plans are practical and deliverable
- Oversee logistics planning (with support from the wider office team)
- Manage onsite delivery of projects during setup, operation, and breakdown
- Manage and meet client expectations on site
GE Production’s busiest period is the summer events season and so as part of this role, you will be expected to be regularly available for evening and weekend event work during peak season, especially Saturdays.
All event days are paid separately at an agreed day rate and weekend work is planned in advance wherever possible.
This role is not suited to someone who wants to avoid on\-site delivery and responsibility for live events.
Successful candidates will:
- Have experience within events, production, or project delivery
- Be financially literate and able to balance cost and delivery
- Be comfortable taking ownership of projects and decisions
- Be organised, detail\-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
- Be calm under pressure with a friendly and positive outlook
- Be extremely strong client\-facing and confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
- Have a good understanding of live event production and event technology
- Be motivated to grow within the business
Progression
As the business grows, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility, with progression towards senior production and leadership roles within the company.
