Production Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to oversee refurbishment and remanufacturing operations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, maintaining high quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team and optimise processes in a fast\-paced environment.

The working pattern will be Mon \- Friday 08:00 to 16:00 on a 37\.5 hour contract. There is an alternative plan of 07:30 to 16:00 Monday \- Thrusday and 07:30 to 13:30 that can be discussed during the interview stage.

Duties

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities to meet organisational targets and deadlines.


• Utilise ERP systems to monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics.


• Lead process improvement projects aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and enhancing product quality.


• Oversee quality control procedures to ensure products meet specified standards and compliance requirements.


• Manage assembly lines and mechanical systems, providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed.


• Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimise procurement, inventory management, and delivery schedules.


• Implement continuous improvement strategies across manufacturing operations to foster innovation and operational excellence.


• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff.

• Strong knowledge of SAP, ERP systems, and supply chain management principles.


• Proven experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.


• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery and assembly processes.


• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.


• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently.


• Analytical mindset with a focus on quality control and operational optimisation.
