The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to take ownership of end to end operational activities, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a key leadership position responsible for managing production performance, coordinating resources, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring customer requirements are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities • Oversee the full production process from order review through to final delivery.
- Assess workload requirements, production capacity, and operational priorities.
- Develop and manage production schedules to maximise efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and external resources to support delivery targets.
- Lead, support, and develop Team Leaders and production personnel.
- Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure products meet quality standards, specifications, and customer expectations.
- Resolve operational issues and minimise disruptions to production activities.
- Manage material availability and work closely with supply chain functions to maintain continuity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures.
- Produce and communicate performance reports and operational updates to senior management.
- Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Experience managing operational performance and delivery targets.
- Knowledge of quality standards, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Ability to analyse problems, make decisions, and implement effective solutions.
- Commercial awareness with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
