Salary: £39,900
Shift: Sunday – Thursday | Sunday 12:00pm–9:00pm | Monday–Thursday 3:00pm–12:00am

Job Role of the Production Front Line Manager A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by a strong Production Front Line Manager has come to the forefront.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a major food manufacturing business at a key stage of its development. The site is a large-scale poultry processing and packaging facility employing over 1,200 people, with significant investment and expansion planned over the next 2–3 years to develop the site into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

As the Production Front Line Manager, you will be responsible for leading a busy, high-volume production area covering filleting and trimming, whole birds and packaging lines. You will directly lead 6 Key Operatives and oversee a wider team of up to 100 production operatives, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, food safety and efficiency.

You will be a visible leader on the factory floor, managing day-to-day production, developing your team, resolving operational issues and working closely with Engineering, Quality, Planning and other departments to ensure production runs efficiently.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Production Front Line Manager Production supervisory or management experience within a high-volume manufacturing or production environment.

Hands-on experience leading and managing sizeable operational teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements for the Production Front Line Manager • Previous experience leading and motivating large production teams.

• Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Production Front Line Manager • Previous experience within food or poultry manufacturing.

• Experience working within a large-scale manufacturing facility.


• HACCP or IOSH qualification.


• Experience of continuous improvement within a production environment.
