Production Engineering
Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Production Engineering – Level 3 Safety Engineer to support daily production activities with a strong emphasis on workplace safety, risk management, and documentation accuracy. The role involves evaluating operational risks, maintaining safety-related documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure production processes comply with established standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct, facilitate, and maintain comprehensive Activity Based Risk Assessments (ABRA) and Machine Safety Analyses (MSA) for existing production operations.
Develop, update, and verify operational procedures, work instructions, and operation descriptions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal standards.
Partner closely with production operators, maintenance personnel, production leadership, and LSA stakeholders to ensure risk assessments are completed in accordance with defined processes.
Review existing documentation and operational practices to identify potential safety concerns, process gaps, or non-conformities, and establish corrective action plans.
Support ongoing improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing ABRA methodologies, safety performance, and operational efficiency.
Create and implement new operation descriptions and procedural documentation for newly introduced production activities and work steps.
Ensure all safety-related records and documentation remain accurate, traceable, and aligned with site requirements.
Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience within an industrial production environment.
Proven background in risk assessment activities and/or preparation of technical documentation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and systematically.
Fluency in Swedish, both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience utilizing ABRA or comparable risk assessment frameworks such as FMEA or SOP-based risk analysis methodologies.
Working knowledge of the Machinery Safety Directive (2006/42/EC).
Previous experience creating and maintaining work instructions and operational documentation in a manufacturing or production setting.
