Production Engineer

Grade 5 Full Time \| Day Shift \| 37\.5 Hours per Week

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Production Engineer to join our Production team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support manufacturing operations through process improvement, project management, product quality enhancement, and the introduction of new technologies and equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving efficiency, improving manufacturing processes, and supporting production teams in achieving quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop and implement process improvements to improve productivity and efficiency.

  • Support production teams in resolving engineering and quality\-related issues.

  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities.

  • Manage engineering projects from concept through to implementation.

  • Produce and maintain engineering documentation, procedures and drawings.

  • Support the introduction, installation and validation of new equipment and tooling.

  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Purchasing teams.

  • Analyse manufacturing data and recommend improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in a Product Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer or similar engineering role.

  • HNC qualification in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent engineering experience.

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience interpreting and producing engineering documentation and technical drawings.
Desirable
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience.

  • Continuous improvement experience, including Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.

  • Project Management qualification or experience.

  • Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

  • Knowledge of tooling design and asset management.
