We at JKR are excited to be supporting a forward-thinking manufacturing company, in recruiting for a brand-new Production Engineer position!

Production Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to management at all levels in achieving business objectives


• Comply with all Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental requirements


• Maintain a strong understanding of all activities within the assigned work areas


• Ensure all physical workspaces consistently meet or exceed company housekeeping standards


• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by management


• Conduct detailed tool inspections to ensure tools meet specification and are suitable for production use


• Carry out hands-on assembly and preparation of mould tools for production and development trials


• Plan and perform tool trials to validate tooling performance, process capability, and product quality


• Record, analyse, and report trial results, identifying improvements and implementing corrective actions where required

Production Engineer Additional Skills and Attributes:

• Relevant qualifications, product knowledge, or industry experience preferred


• Hands-on Mechanical background


• Familiarity with Quality Management processes, such as CAPA and Non-conformances


• Self-motivated with good time management and reliability


• Able to build professional relationships and work effectively as part of a team


• Flexible, enthusiastic, and maintains a positive attitude


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written


• Committed to ongoing learning and personal development


• Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement

Production Engineer Working Hours and Benefits:

• Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm


• Friday 8 am to 3 pm


• Standard company pension after 3 months
