Production Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Enginner to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for remanufacturing automotive components within our workshop, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to safety standards. Duties

• Remanufacture automotive components to OEM standards


• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on workshop machinery and equipment


• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and modify components


• Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly


• Assist in the calibration and testing of equipment to ensure optimal performance


• Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, adhering to health and safety regulations


• Support team members with technical guidance and practical assistance as required

Experience

• Proven experience of mechanical engineering, ideally within a workshop or industrial setting


• Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers


• Experience operating power tools safely and effectively


• Knowledge of mechanical principles and troubleshooting techniques


• Familiarity with health and safety procedures relevant to workshop environments


• Full training will be provided

The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem\-solving. A background in mechanical engineering or related fields is advantageous but not essential for highly motivated individuals eager to learn. This position provides valuable hands\-on experience in a professional setting, supporting career growth within the industry.

Pay: £26,436\.80\-£29,640\.00 per year
