Goods In Assistant

• Salary: £25,000 annual salary (£13.74 per hour)


• Job Type: Full-time, 3 month FTC

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Goods In Assistant to join our growing warehouse team. This role is crucial for supporting the efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse and production areas, ensuring that deliveries, stock, and warehouse operations are managed safely and accurately.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Load and unload incoming deliveries and outgoing collections.


• Ensure all deliveries and collections are accurately documented alongside the Goods In Manager.


• Move stock and materials around the factory to support production requirements.


• Wrap, strap, and prepare pallets for storage or dispatch.


• Weigh barrels and IBCs, ensuring all information is recorded accurately.


• Assist the Goods In Manager with additional warehouse duties as required.


• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.


• Keep walkways and access routes clear at all times.


• Follow, promote, and contribute to good health and safety practices within the warehouse.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential, ideally gained within a small business environment.


• Bendi Forklift Truck experience is desirable.


• Candidates without Bendi experience must hold Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck experience.


• Full Bendi forklift training and licence will be provided during onboarding where required.


• Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.


• Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
