Job Title: Production and Warehouse Operative

REPORTING TO PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

KEY DUTIES

• Undertake Warehouse duties as and when required by the Production \& Warehouse manager including Customer order picking and packing, Production line picking, kit packing, product packing, goods in and stock checking.


• Undertake Production line duties as and when required by the Production \& Warehouse manager including assembly of sub\- assemblies, assembly of full assemblies and testing.


• Occasionally drive the company van for local drop off and collections.

OTHER DUTIES

• To inform Supervisor or Manager of any picking discrepancies.


• To maintain a clean and tidy work area.


• To undertake work of a related nature in addition to your normal duties upon request.


• To advise of any unsafe working practices or faulty equipment.


• To abide to company terms and conditions of employment.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

• To ensure that all parts are assembled correctly and built as per the job instructions within a specified time frame.


• To ensure all paperwork is filled out accurately including store issue information, quality control sheets, reject forms and build time stamps.


• To ensure all spreadsheets are filled out accurately including the “Production \& Warehouse schedule” and the “Reject register”.


• Reduce reject parts by re\-working when possible and avoid in\-house rejects by taking care when handling product.


• Ensure that all Warehouse orders are picked and packed accurately and within a specified time frame.

• Mechanical assembly: 1 year (preferred)
