About the Role
You will work with real field quality challenges in an automotive environment, investigating issues found in vehicles on the market and testing new or updated in-car functions before they reach customers. The role combines hands-on work in vehicles with analytical work at your desk, where you turn findings into clear problem descriptions, supporting data, and recommendations that help teams resolve issues faster. You will collaborate with quality, engineering, and aftermarket stakeholders and contribute directly to better customer experience through both investigation and function acceptance testing. This is a strong fit if you enjoy practical fault tracing, structured analysis, and work that has visible impact on the product.
Job DescriptionYou will investigate product quality issues in vehicles on the market and reproduce faults to clarify the problem and support resolution.
You will perform failure mode analysis and support root cause analysis for field quality problems.
You will propose containment actions based on findings and available data.
You will manage product improvement issues within your technical area in Jira and GQMP.
You will perform advanced fault tracing and provide technical support to the aftermarket organization.
You will carry out customer-focused in-car function acceptance testing for new or revised vehicle functions prior to introduction.
You will occasionally travel to dealerships and customer meetings as part of the investigation and testing work.
RequirementsExperience of automotive aftermarket and quality issue resolution work.
B.Sc. in engineering or equivalent experience.
Communication skills for issue reporting.
Good awareness of practical implications of GDPR legislation.
Root cause analysis and in-car fault tracing skills.
Documented experience of vehicle diagnostic tools.
Driver's license for passenger vehicles.
A well-developed ability to assess vehicle functions.
Nice to haveYou are comfortable switching between hands-on work in a vehicle and desktop-based analysis.
You bring strong business acumen in customer-facing situations.
You enjoy working in a role that combines investigation, testing, and technical support.
