Your next challenge
The Product Pricing Manager supports the design and optimization of pricing strategies by delivering robust analysis, modeling, and data‑driven recommendations.
Working closely with Product Managers and Product Leadership Team, this role contributes to defining pricing approaches (e.g., pricing models, structures, and monetization logic) and ensures they are informed by market data, customer behavior, and financial impact analysis.
The role is positioned as an expert individual contributor, with strong analytical ownership and direct impact on revenue and profitability decisions, while strategic direction remains jointly defined with leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Pricing Analysis \& Model Development
- Develop and maintain pricing models and analytical frameworks to support pricing decisions across products and segments.
- Analyze different pricing approaches and provide data‑driven recommendations on:
+ Revenue models (subscription, usage‑based, hybrid)
- Support Product teams in translating value propositions into monetization logic.
- Perform detailed revenue, margin, and profitability analysis across products, customers, and segments.
- Identify risks and opportunities related to:
+ Discounting practices
+ Product mix
- Support trade‑off analysis between growth, competitiveness, and profitability.
- Track and report key pricing and revenue KPIs, such as:
+ Margin performance
+ Revenue uplift vs. baseline
- Monitor performance of pricing initiatives and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Support periodic pricing reviews with structured insights and recommendations.
- Conduct structured analysis of:
+ Market pricing trends
+ Customer price sensitivity (where data is available)
- Consolidate pricing intelligence to support fact‑based decision making.
- Identify potential gaps and areas for pricing differentiation.
- Build financial models to estimate the impact of pricing changes, including:
+ Volume sensitivity
+ Margin implications
- Support business cases by providing scenario analyses and assumptions.
- Contribute to forecasting and planning cycles with pricing input.
- Partner closely with:
+ Product Insights \& Performance Analyst (complement the holistic competitive benchmarking studies with Pricing dimension)
+ Sales teams (discount guidelines, deal support)
+ Finance (financial alignment, planning)
- Provide analytical support for:
+ Promotions and special pricing cases
- Contribute to alignment between product strategy and commercial execution.
Profile \& Capabilities
Core Competencies
- Strong analytical and structured thinking
- Ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations
- Solid understanding of commercial levers (price, volume, margin)
- Attention to detail with a pragmatic, business‑oriented mindset
- Effective communication with both technical and business stakeholders
- Advanced Excel / financial modeling skills
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar)
- Familiarity with pricing concepts (elasticity, segmentation, bundling) is a plus
- Experience with SQL or data tools is a plus (not mandatory)
- 3–6 years of experience in:
+ Product analytics or business analysis
- Experience in tech, SaaS, marketplace, or data‑driven environments preferred
- Languages: French/Dutch with fluent English
- Strong exposure to:
+ Financial modeling
+ Market or competitive analysis
