Product Owner Data Science & AI

As a Product Owner Data Science \& AI, you will be responsible for the following:

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog for Data Science and AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with the product strategy, roadmap, IT strategy, and organizational objectives;


• Take ownership in driving the Data Science \& AI agenda and act as a catalyst for new initiatives across the organization, identifying opportunities where AI, analytics, and automation can create measurable business value;


• Proactively engage with business stakeholders to identify opportunities, validate ideas, and initiate Data Science and AI projects with clear business value, from experiments and proof of concepts through to scalable solutions;


• Translate business needs and opportunities into clear user stories, well\-defined acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes that can be effectively delivered by cross\-functional teams;


• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders on AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, and data science products, ensuring solutions are validated for business value, technical feasibility, adoption, and responsible AI principles;


• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, architects, and development teams, facilitating sprint planning, defining sprint goals, and driving continuous improvement based on product value, quality, adoption, and model performance.

What do you bring?

• A bachelor's or master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field;


• 2\-5 years of experience in a IT, Data, Analytics, or business environment. Preferably in a role such as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, or a similar role connected to data science, AI, or advanced analytics;


• Strong knowledge of agile and scrum methodologies;


• Understanding of data science, machine learning, AI concepts, or willingness to develop this knowledge further;


• Knowledge of responsible AI, data quality, privacy, and governance principles is a strong plus;


• PSPO, CSPO, or similar Product Owner certification (preferred);


• An analytical mindset and strong communication skills in English.
