Product Manager Packs & Bags (all, 80-100%)
In this role you own and drive the development and commercial success of the backpacks, sleeping bags and hardware accessories category across the entire product lifecycle. As Product Manager you define and execute the assortment strategy and ensure strong market positioning. As the central point of contact for the category, you collaborate cross\-functionally with development, design, marketing and sales to align on product direction and contribute directly to the overall category performance and evolution of the range. We are looking for someone to start in this position on September 1st 2026 or by agreement.

Your responsibilities
- Drive the assortment strategy including product vision, roadmap, market positioning and lifecycle management
- Lead product conception and business case creation, including deep market, consumer and competitor analysis
- Take responsibility for the product development process, ensuring timelines, cost targets, and quality standards are met in close collaboration with team lead, development, design and sourcing
- Responsible for product communication and packaging in close collaboration with marketing and external partners
- Act as a key interface to sales, providing strong product training, presentations at sales meetings, and market activation concepts
- Responsible for achieving seasonal collection targets in terms of revenue, margin, quality and product performance
- Own and continuously improve the product testing strategy including sample management, maintaining and growing a strong network of testers and athletes
- Ensure high data quality and consistency in PLM and iPIM systems
- Identify opportunities for innovation and category growth, driving continuous improvement of the product portfolio
Your profile
- Higher education degree in business administration, marketing, sports management, industrial design or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in Product Management or related roles, preferably in the outdoor or sports industry
- Demonstrated ownership of products, projects or categories
- Technical understanding of functional outdoor products and the affinity for and experience in product communication
- Teamplayer with strong organization skills with the passion for mountain and outdoor sports
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking as well as an ownership mindset and accountability
- Results\-driven with clear commercial focus and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Fluent in English (written \& spoken), any other language would be a plus
- Good MS\-Office Skills, experience with PLM, iPIM and other product management systems would be desirable
