Product Manager Metal Seals

Responsibilities

As a member of the business development team you are responsible for growing sales for new and existing metals seal customers in EMEA. (Parker Prädifa Metal Seals \- Prädifa Technology Division \| Parker)

You are the technical liaison between the US manufacturing site in North Haven (CT) and our EMEA customer base. You strengthen existing relationships and find opportunities for growth at existing and new customers and collaborate with the European sales \& division marketing team.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for growing the metal seal business in Europe in close collaboration with the field sales \& division marketing team. Find new potential customers and pro\-actively reach out to customers and Parker sales teams.


• Act as the day to day connection between CSS engineering team and PTD engineers \& customers.


• Prepare quotes together with the customer service team


• Support the CSS logistic and quality team in Boom with expertise when required


• Converts customer requirements into a feasible metal sealing solution proposal


• Be the first line of technical support for technical customer questions about metal seals


• Provide product training for field sales, Parker engineering colleagues \& customers.


• Work together with marcom to promote metal seal products online including in our socials

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has several years of experience in design and application engineering of machine elements in an industrial environment with commercial interest.

• Master degree in engineering, preferably in electro\-mechanics or machine design.


• Experience in the sealing industry is a plus


• Interesting or experience in business development is a plus


• Experience in Aerospace or other high end industry is a plus


• Excellent presentation and reporting skills, verbal and written.


• Good communication skills


• Willingness to travel to customers within Europe and our production location in the US.


• Fluent in English and Dutch, working knowledge of German and French.


• Team player


• able to take the lead on projects.


• Hands\-on mentality.
