The Gothenburg R\&D team consists of six designers. The Product Development Team lead reports to Group CTO and works closely with the Chief Designer.
Main Responsibilities of the Product Development Team Lead

- Lead the product development processes from conception through to launch, ensuring innovative solutions meet market demands.
- Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including design, production engineering Product Management and Brand Management to deliver on project objectives and timelines.
- Act as a Project Owner with responsibility over resources, project budget and schedule
- Drive strategic initiatives to optimize product development process
- Mentor, guide and lead team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the R\&D team in Gothenburg.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a related industry.
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical or Naval Engineering or equal skills
- Strong knowledge of product development and project management methodologies.
- Exceptional problem\-solving skills with a data\-driven approach to decision\-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English; Swedish proficiency is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and inspire a team within a fast\-paced environment.
Desirable Attributes
- Experience with Lean product development and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to conduct and utilise data analytics to inform product strategy.
- Proven track record of launching successful products on schedule and within budget.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Personal interest and experience in boating or sailing
