Your mission

We're looking for a talented and driven Product Designer to join our growing Product team. You'll be working alongside one other designer and our Head of Product, owning the end\-to\-end design of our product experience across mobile and web \- from initial concept through to polished delivery \- with a particular focus on making complex performance data feel intuitive, meaningful, and beautiful.

Your role will include:

  • Data Visualisation: Design clear, compelling ways to present complex performance data across both mobile and web \- including charts, trends, and insights dashboards that make it easy for users to understand what's happening and what to do next.

  • Simplification at Scale: Continuously challenge and refine how we present information \- reducing cognitive load, eliminating clutter, and building towards a long\-term vision of simplicity without sacrificing depth.

  • UX Research \& Iteration: Collaborate with sport scientists, coaches, and athletes to gather feedback, validate design decisions, and iterate quickly based on real\-world usage.

  • Design System Ownership: Contribute to and maintain our design system, ensuring consistency and quality across our mobile and web surfaces.

Your profile

If you don't meet all the skills listed below, don't hesitate to reach out \- we may be able to adjust the role slightly or find a position that aligns better with your strengths.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3\-5 years of product design experience, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong UX and UI craft.

  • Proven experience in product design across our platforms, ideally in a consumer context.

  • Experience designing data\-heavy products \- dashboards, analytics, data visualisation, or insights tools.

  • Proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and handoff.

  • Familiarity with AI\-powered rapid prototyping tools such as Claude, Figma Make, or similar.

Your Key Skills:

  • A genuine passion for great design \- you care deeply about both how things look and how they work.

  • Strong ability to simplify complex information into clear, elegant user experiences \- including a sharp eye for data visualisation, trends, and insights surfaces that are both beautiful and immediately legible.

  • A proactive approach to continuous learning and upskilling with AI \- you embrace new tools like Claude or Figma Make to prototype faster and stay ahead of how the design craft is evolving.

  • Experience contributing to or building design systems.

  • Curiosity about sports science, athlete performance, or health and fitness is a bonus \- but not required.

Why us?

  • Competitive salary in line with experience.

  • Flexible working \- we typically work at least 2 days in our NovaUCD office.

  • 26 days of holidays in addition to all public holidays.
