Procurement Support Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Procurement Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting procurement operations, ensuring seamless coordination across various systems and departments. The ideal applicant will possess strong organisational skills, experience with data management systems, and a keen understanding of procurement processes.

Duties

• Assist in the processing of purchase orders and procurement transactions using SAP.


• Manage stock transfers between our main warehouse and third party manufacturers/fillers.


• Coordinate the internal yard calendar and manage the booking process for all incoming deliveries, ensuring daily visibility for yard operators.


• Monitor stock of warehouse consumables and order as appropriate from approved suppliers.


• Liaise with the Site manager to ensure that orders for upcoming plant maintenance / installation are placed and delivery status regularly checked to ensure jobs can be completed as per the engineering plan.


• Update cost data for raw materials and packaging on SAP as price updates are sent through to the purchasing team to ensure our finished product prices are accurate.


• Assist with raw material stock management to ensure all stock data in SAP is accurate.


• Update supplier / stock data on SAP to ensure lead times, minimum order quantities and minimum stock levels are set at appropriate levels

• Proven experience working with SAP \- essential.


• 2 years purchasing experience in manufacturing \- essential.


• Experience working with a chemicals manufacturer is an advantage.


• Organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.


• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to collaborate effectively across departments.
