Job Title: Global Procurement Operations Lead
CBRE Local, leading global provider of integrated facilitiesand corporate real estate management, are recruiting a Procurement OperationsLead to join the Global Procurement Operations Team located in London.
Role Summary:
The Global Procurement Operations Lead is responsible fordriving the delivery, optimisation and adoption of procurement technologyacross CBRE Local’s global business.
This role combines project management, systems ownership,data and analytics, and senior stakeholder engagement, enabling procurementteams and the wider business to use insight, technology and supplier risk datato improve commercial and operational outcomes for CBRE and its clients.
Projects Deployments
This opportunity requires someone to understand the pipelineof global procurement and technology initiatives, including scope, timelinesand operational impact. The responsibilities will include; leading the deliveryand continuous improvement of CBRE Local’s Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)programme while ensuring coverage across geographies and suppliers. Additional responsibilities below:
Ensure supplier risk management is embedded into purchasingdecisions through integration with procurement and P2P platforms
Lead project management activities for key initiatives,ensuring delivery in line with agreed plans and outcomes
Identify, engage and align appropriate stakeholders acrossregions, functions and suppliers to ensure successful delivery
Build and maintain meaningful KPIs to measure theeffectiveness of procurement systems, data quality and platform performance
Understand procurement data sources across operatingplatforms, including data volume, structure, frequency of update and dataquality
Ensure data requirements are embedded into new projects andtechnology deployments, informing data warehouse planning
Develop solutions to manage, aggregate and normalise largevolumes of procurement data, improving speed, accuracy and insight
Ensure procurement system data is routinely reviewed andmaintained to mitigate financial and operational risk
Engagement \& Training
The successful candidate will lead the development andongoing enhancement of the Local Procurement Information Hub, includingexploration of modern solutions such as AI enabled knowledge platforms. Amongstthe day to day operations, this role will develop procurement teams’understanding of current and emerging procurement technologies. In addition to the above, this role will work alongside key stakeholders from Global Procurement colleagues, Digital \& Technology teams and businessstakeholders, and therefore it is key for the successful candidate to have the ability to build strong relationships.
Experience Required:
Strong experience delivering complex, multi stakeholdertechnology or transformation projects
Deep understanding of procurement technology architecture,systems and data analytics
Experience of data governance and management programmes
Ability to analyse, interpret and use data to drive improvedcommercial and operational outcomes
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and SQL
Experience operating within a large, complex, matrixorganisation
Calm and resilient under pressure, able to manage ambiguityand competing priorities
