Procurement Engineer

Location: Terrassa, Barcelona (Spain)

MISSION

To oversee the procurement of technical goods and services for industrial operations and to assure supplier quality requirements are matched to customer requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Procurement Engineer Tasks: Request for quotation and costs analysis.


• Supplier Quality Development Tasks:


• Development phase

+ Managing APQP for new products or modifications and re\-approval (PPAP).
+ Carry out Supplier Process Audits

• Serial phase

+ Supplier Performance
+ Managing supplier non\-conformities, analyzing 8 D reports

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in SQA and/or Purchase Engineering (minimum 3 years).


• Advanced Level of English


• Core Tools: knowledge APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, FMEA, MSA.
