Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join a public sector organisation on an initial 3-month contract, with strong potential for extension due to ongoing project timelines.
This role will play a key part in supporting procurement activity towards the end of a major tender process, with a primary focus on contract close-out, compliance, and administrative completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the end-of-tender lifecycle, ensuring all procurement activities are completed in line with public sector regulations
- Manage closing-out administration, including documentation, audit trails, and compliance checks
- Work within large public sector procurement frameworks, including ADAM
- Provide procurement support across a range of sourcing activities
- Ensure adherence to public sector procurement policies and governance standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transition from tender to contract award
- Proven experience operating at Buyer level within procurement
- Strong background in procurement / sourcing
- Hands-on experience working within the public sector
- Familiarity with large procurement frameworks (ADAM experience highly desirable)
- Experience supporting tender processes, particularly end-stage / close-out activities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage procurement documentation and compliance tasks
- Duration: 3 months initial contract (likely extension)
- Rate: £500 - £600 per day
- Location: Hybrid - 1 day per month onsite in Warwick
