Procurement Administrator Role Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Procurement Administrator to join our team.
This role is pivotal to the business and you will be working closely with our suppliers, warehouse, sales and finance teams to ensure product availability, control costs and improve our purchasing and goods in procedures.
Key responsibilities
· Raising of Purchase Orders and tracking of orders
· Negotiate prices, delivery dates and supplier arrangements while maintaining strong quality and service standards
· Booking in deliveries to multiple warehouse locations
· Ensure optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while supporting efficient stock control and minimising unnecessary waste
· Support supplier approval and performance monitoring activities to ensure suppliers meet d.a.pak's quality, ethical and service expectations
· Co\-ordinate the import process to ensure correct documentation and compliance
· Collaborate with sales and internal teams to align supply with demand and support strong customer service, cost control and efficient supply chain performance
· Manage the booking in and clearance of inbound deliveries
· Providing cover for the Warehouse Administrator
· Dealing with TSS/HMRC
Essential Skills and Experience
· Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills
· Experience of purchasing and goods in procedures
· Computer literate
Desirable
· Strong Excel capability
· Experience of imports and exports
· Previous experience of Procurement systems would be beneficial
