Process Engineer

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Process Engineering.


• More than 5 years of experience in EPC projects within the Oil \& Gas, Energy, or Petrochemical sectors.


• Knowledge of international standards: API, ASME, ASTM, ISO, ISA, NFPA.


• Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or PRO/II (or equivalent process simulation software).


• English level B2 or higher.


• Experience in commissioning and start\-up of process units will be considered an advantage.

• 100% on\-site in Spain.

Principal duties

• Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping \& Instrumentation Diagrams (P\&IDs).


• Perform material and energy balances, sizing calculations, and process equipment selection.


• Develop technical documentation.


• Participate in the preparation and review of HAZOP, SIL, and HAZID studies, ensuring compliance with the highest safety and quality standards.


• Coordinate with other disciplines throughout all engineering phases (FEED, Basic, and Detail Design).


• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and start\-up phases.


• Carry out other duties inherent to the position.
