Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto\-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.
In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.
### **Your tasks
- Planning, execution, and documentation of process transfers for optical functional coatings
- Participation in change processes and change management activities
- Determination and analysis of dispersion data for coating materials on both the current coating system and the target coating system
- Evaluation of developed coating designs in close collaboration with the R\&D team
- Development of coating strategies
- Presentation of transfer status and results in regular steering committee meetings
- Preparation of release documentation for internal use and for customers
- Creation and maintenance of production\-related specifications and process documentation
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical/scientific field, combined with relevant professional experience
- Extensive knowledge of vacuum technology, coating technologies, and optical metrology
- Strong understanding of complex technical systems and interrelationships
- Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics, combined with a structured, careful, and focused working style
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies is considered an advantage
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and SAP
- Fluent German (C1 level) and very good English skills (minimum B2 level)
