The Opportunity
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Private Family Personal Assistant to join a household in the New Forest. This is a varied, hands-on position that combines private PA responsibilities with household and property management. The successful candidate will become a trusted part of the family's support structure, ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the household while providing proactive administrative and organisational assistance. This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in delivering a high level of service with discretion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day organisation and smooth running of a private household.
- Coordinate household staff, contractors, maintenance providers, and external suppliers.
- Manage diaries, appointments, bookings, and travel arrangements.
- Support household administration, record keeping, and general correspondence.
- Assist with budgeting, invoice management, and supplier coordination.
- Maintain household systems, schedules, and key documentation.
- Coordinate family logistics and provide practical day-to-day support.
- Assist with planning and delivery of family events, entertaining, and special occasions.
- Ensure property maintenance projects and routine tasks are completed efficiently.
- Anticipate requirements, solve problems proactively, and provide seamless support.
- Previous experience as a Private PA, Executive Assistant, House Manager, Family Assistant, or similar position.
- Outstanding organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach.
- A high level of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and digital diary management.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
