Description
The Paralegal will play a key role supporting a busy private equity transactions team on a wide range of corporate matters. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting on cross-border M&A transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and minority investments
- Supporting deal execution processes, including due diligence, document management and drafting ancillary documents
- Coordinating signing and completion processes, including managing checklists and closing bibles
- Conducting legal research and preparing internal summaries and client-facing materials
- Liaising with fee earners, clients and international counsel across multiple jurisdictions
- Supporting corporate governance and general company secretarial matters
- Maintaining transaction documentation and data rooms to a high standard
Profile
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous paralegal experience in corporate, M&A or private equity (law firm preferred)
- Strong academic background with a law degree or equivalent qualification
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
