As Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a high standard of tax advisory and compliance services to a broad range of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trustees, and business owners. Key Responsibilities • Managing a diverse portfolio of private client tax compliance and advisory work, including self-assessment tax returns and inheritance tax planning
- Providing technically sound and commercially relevant advice to high-net-worth individuals, trustees, and entrepreneurs
- Reviewing and supervising the work of junior team members, supporting their development and maintaining quality standards
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries
- Supporting senior management with business development activities and contributing to the wider growth of the tax offering
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge across personal tax, trusts, and estate planning, with the ability to handle complex cases with confidence
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
- A proactive, client-focused approach with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
