A well-established, award-winning law firm in Liskeard, Cornwall is expanding its successful Private Client department and is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Fee Earner to join its growing team.

Private Client Lawyer Role – Key Responsibilities

Manage a Full Caseload of Private Client Matters in Liskeard

• Estate Administration and Probate


• Drafting Wills and Estate Planning Advice


• Inheritance Tax (IHT) Planning and Wealth Preservation


• Trust Creation, Administration, and Advisory Work


• Preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)


• Court of Protection work (desirable, not essential)

Client Relationship Management & Business Development

• Build and maintain strong client relationships across Liskeard and Cornwall


• Participate in networking and business development activities (optional)

Private Client Solicitor Requirements

Experienced Private Client Lawyer – Liskeard Opportunity

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx), or experienced Fee Earner


• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Private Client Law


• STEP or SFE accreditation (or working towards) – advantageous


• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills


• Strong communication and client care skills
