A Senior Leadership Opportunity in a Growing Private Client Team

An established and progressive employee-owned law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious solicitor to lead its expanding Private Client Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior private client lawyer looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice. The role combines strategic leadership, team development and hands-on fee earning work, offering genuine influence over the future direction of the department.

The Role

Private Client Solicitor to play a central role in leading and developing the Private Client Department, ensuring consistently high standards of client care, compliance and departmental performance.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, managing and developing the Private Client Department


• Overseeing departmental performance, compliance and service delivery standards


• Supervising and mentoring solicitors, a trainee solicitor and support staff


• Managing a varied personal caseload including:


• Wills


• Probate and estate administration


• Trusts


• Lasting Powers of Attorney


• Deputyship matters


• Supporting business development and marketing initiatives


• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations

• Private Client Solicitor with significant experience in private client law


• Strong leadership and people management skills


• Excellent technical expertise and client care standards


• Commercial awareness with experience of working towards financial targets


• STEP qualification (preferred) or willingness to work towards accreditation
