Contract: Permanent | Part Time (34.25 hours per week)
Working Pattern: Term Time + 1 Week

Are you passionate about supporting children’s emotional wellbeing?

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) to provide targeted support for children experiencing social, emotional and behavioural challenges. This is a rewarding opportunity to help children build confidence, resilience and the skills they need to thrive.

The Role

You will deliver structured ELSA interventions, working one-to-one and in small groups to support children with:

  • Anxiety, friendships and social skills

  • Emotional regulation and self-esteem

  • Bereavement, loss and change

  • Engagement and readiness for learning

You’ll play a key role in creating a nurturing, supportive environment where children feel safe, understood and ready to succeed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering tailored emotional wellbeing interventions

  • Supporting children to develop coping strategies and emotional awareness

  • Monitoring progress and measuring impact

  • Working collaboratively with families, staff and external professionals

  • Contributing to a positive, inclusive culture
