Primary Teacher (Part-Time) – Year 2 & Year 3

• Working Pattern: Tuesdays and Thursdays (Full Days)


• Duration: Until at least October Half Term

Join Kirkham & Wesham Primary School as a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher on a part-time basis. This role involves teaching Year 2 on Thursdays and Year 3 on Tuesdays, providing an excellent opportunity to impact young learners' educational journeys. As stated above this role will initially run until October Half Term and provides an excellent opportunity for both the successful candidate and the school to establish a strong working relationship, with the potential for it to extend.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.


• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.


• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting high standards and a nurturing setting.


• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to enhance their educational development.


• Work collaboratively with colleagues and school leaders to enhance teaching practices.


• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents, ensuring a supportive educational community.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).


• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.


• Demonstrated strong classroom management skills.


• Adaptable, organised, and reliable professional attributes.


• Passionate about supporting pupils' academic and personal development.
