PPA Teacher – Toxteth (L8)
Start Date: September 2026
Pay: Competitive daily rates
Payment: Weekly via PAYE
The Role
A well-regarded primary school in Toxteth is looking for an experienced and proactive teacher to cover PPA across the school.
- Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Year groups covered: Years 1–5
- Additional responsibility: • Teach a small Year 5 intervention group for half a day
- Focus on closing gaps in maths
- Popular and well-established primary school in central Toxteth
- Strong leadership with a highly respected Head Teacher
- Stable staff team with low turnover

- Opportunity may become temp-to-perm due to relocation of the current postholder
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced primary teacher
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Comfortable teaching across multiple year groups
- Confident delivering targeted maths intervention
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
