Pay Rate: £115 – £130 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description

A supportive primary school in Crodoy is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role involves leading lessons, supporting teachers, and delivering targeted interventions to help pupils achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.


• Support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes.


• Lead small-group interventions to raise attainment and accelerate progress.


• Assist with lesson planning and the preparation of learning resources.


• Provide feedback on pupil progress and attainment to teaching staff.

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.


• Experience working within Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.


• Strong behaviour management skills.


• Confidence in leading whole-class learning sessions.


• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning.
