Aspire People are recruiting experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary schools. We have opportunities available for candidates looking for long-term positions, daily supply, or a role that could lead to a permanent opportunity.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is confident taking responsibility for learning, supporting teachers, and working with pupils across different year groups.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Delivering lessons, interventions and small-group activities
- Providing PPA and class cover where required
- Supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
- Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Working alongside class teachers and senior leaders
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback
- Taking responsibility for the classroom when required
- Holds an HLTA qualification or has strong equivalent experience
- Recent experience working within a UK primary school
- Confident leading learning and supporting whole classes
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Good understanding of the primary curriculum
