Pay: £92.56 - £95 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)

About the Role

As a Primary Classroom Assistant in Doncaster, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning and achieve their full potential across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

You may support individual pupils, small intervention groups, or provide general classroom assistance, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children's education and development within primary schools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

  • Provide classroom, small group and 1:1 support where required

  • Assist with lesson preparation and classroom organisation

  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning

  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff

  • Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

  • Experience working with children in a school, nursery or childcare setting

  • Positive, patient and supportive approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
