In this pivotal role, you'll drive our external communications and media relations strategy, acting as one of our key spokespersons for French\-language media. You'll have the unique opportunity to influence how Orange Belgium is perceived by journalists, opinion leaders, regulators, and the wider public.

Your Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries, building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media influencers, while proactively developing engagement plans and identifying opportunities to enhance Orange Belgium's visibility.
- Draft and edit press releases, statements, key messages, speeches, and briefing documents, ensuring consistent corporate messaging and translating complex topics into engaging stories.
- Identify newsworthy topics, pitch stories to various media outlets, support executive visibility and thought leadership, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop communication opportunities.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, prepare reports and analyses, and support crisis communication activities when needed.
- Organize press conferences, briefings, interviews, and media events; coordinate with external partners; and support corporate events and major announcements.
- Collaborate with internal teams across various departments and external agencies, media, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Political Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in media relations, journalism, corporate communications, or public affairs.
- Experience working in a fast\-paced corporate, agency, or media environment is a strong asset.
- Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong understanding of the Belgian media landscape.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
- Very good command of French and English; knowledge of Dutch is also desirable.
