Spyder Events Ltd trading as Spyder Motorcycles is based at Silverstone Race Circuit, where we have been operating for over 18 years. Spyder looks after manufacturer press fleets managing loans, bike prep and maintenance, logistics and events.
About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Press \& Events Fleet Coordinator to manage a fleet of motorcycles used for media loans, press activities, product evaluations and events across the UK.
This is a varied and fast\-paced role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and last\-minute requests. You will play a key role in ensuring motorcycles are prepared, delivered and managed professionally, helping to support media relations and brand activities.
Based at Silverstone Race Circuit, you will work closely with journalists, content creators, event organisers, agency partners, workshop personnel and internal teams, acting as a key point of contact for all fleet\-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day\-to\-day operation of the press and events motorcycle fleet.
- Coordinate motorcycle loans to media, influencers and other approved users.
- Maintain accurate fleet records, bookings, documentation and vehicle status reports.
- Monitor the condition and availability of all fleet motorcycles, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standard.
- Liaise closely with the workshop team to coordinate servicing, repairs, vehicle preparation and maintenance schedules.
- Assist the workshop in tracking parts requirements, inventory levels and vehicle maintenance history relating to the press fleet.
- Schedule and coordinate vehicle preparation, servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Organise transportation and logistics for events, launches and press activities.
- Ensure motorcycles are presented to a high standard and are ready for deployment when required.
- Manage fleet availability and prioritise competing requests effectively.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with journalists, partners and internal stakeholders.
- Support event activities, including vehicle delivery, collection, setup and breakdown.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, insurance requirements and health and safety procedures.
- Assist with administrative reporting and budget tracking where required.
Essential
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where plans can change at short notice.
- Strong problem\-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Good IT and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Full UK driving licence.
- NOTE: the successful candidate must be willing to undergo a full Enhanced DBS check as this position may involve working with sensitive data.
- Full motorcycle licence (Category A).
- Experience working within automotive, motorcycle, events, logistics or fleet management environments.
- Experience handling, loading and securing motorcycles for transportation.
- Experience driving vans and transporting vehicles.
- Knowledge of motorcycle maintenance, workshop processes and vehicle preparation.
This role is primarily based at Silverstone Race Circuit; however, travel throughout the UK may be required to support events and media activities.
Due to the nature of the role, occasional evening and weekend work will be required throughout the year. Additional remuneration or time off in lieu will be provided in accordance with company policy.

Pay: £26,500\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
