Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Prescriptions Clerk to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations by accurately processing prescriptions, assisting patients, and ensuring smooth workflow within the pharmacy setting. Responsibilities
- Accurately input prescription information into the pharmacy management system
- Verify prescription details with healthcare providers and patients as necessary
- Assist patients with medication queries and provide guidance on prescription collection
- Prepare and label medications in accordance with pharmacy protocols
- Maintain organised records of prescriptions and patient information
- Support pharmacy staff with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and confidentiality standards
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role is highly desirable
- Previous work in GP Practice highly desriable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating professionalism and empathy at all times
Pay: £24,420\.00\-£46,803\.15 per year
