Pre-sales Engineer
Job Responsibilities
1\. Responsible for requirement clarification, technical selection and solution formulation for audio communication, IP PBX, public address system and other related solutions.
2\. Cooperate with the sales team to conduct technical exchanges, solution presentations, compile the technical part of bidding documents and respond to technical inquiries; provide necessary L1 basic technical support for customers.
3\. Support on\-site/project technical verification (PoC) and demonstration for customers, including environment deployment, joint debugging, testing and result deliverables output.
4\. Collaborate with delivery and R\&D teams to formulate implementable system architecture, interfaces and implementation plans, and drive the closed\-loop management of project technical risks.
5\. Conduct basic pre\-sales problem troubleshooting, covering network issues, device compatibility, audio links, concurrency and routing, etc.
6\. Travel with sales staff to conduct on\-site project demonstrations.
7\. Provide professional training to customers as required.
8\. Undertake frequent business travel with a travel ratio of over 50%, responsible for customer on\-site visits, product introduction and solution presentation.
Job Requirements
1\. Fluent in English; candidates with a background in computer or network industry are preferred.
2\. 1\-3 years or above relevant working experience, or equivalent professional competence; candidates with pre\-sales or delivery experience in audio communication, weak current, communication, system integration, VoIP and public address systems are preferred.
3\. Familiar with at least one of the following technical directions, and capable of applying relevant knowledge to solution design and fault troubleshooting:
\- IP PBX / VoIP: Basic concepts of SIP/RTP/SDP, registration and call flow, encoding and decoding, influencing factors of voice quality.
\- Audio System: Audio encoding \& decoding/routing, basic principles of echo cancellation and noise reduction, audio delay and quality assessment methods.
\- Public Address/Intercom System: Logic of multi\-point broadcasting and partition broadcasting, paging and triggering mechanism, linkage with business systems (understandable by product line).
\- Network Fundamentals: Basics of VLAN, routing and switching, impact of QoS, bandwidth and delay on voice services, basic troubleshooting methods for NAT and firewall.
4\. Capable of independently drafting solutions and the technical section of bidding documents, including architecture diagrams, interface descriptions, implementation suggestions, risk statements and other relevant contents.
