Pre Production and Logistics
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Pre\-Production \& Logistics Coordinator to join our manufacturing team.
This is a varied, hands\-on position that plays a vital role in supporting our production, warehouse, and logistics operations. The successful candidate will ensure materials, tooling, stock, and equipment are available when needed, helping to maintain efficient production schedules and high operational standards.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment, has excellent attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping processes organised and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain tooling, equipment, and associated inventory.
- Carry out regular stock checks, audits, and inventory updates.
- Prepare materials and components for production requirements.
- Support goods\-in and goods\-out processes, ensuring accurate documentation is completed.
- Process delivery notes and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with the movement of materials and finished products through the warehouse and production areas.
- Assist with production planning and scheduling activities.
- Liaise with multiple departments to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within production and logistics functions.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and workplace safety.
- Assist production teams with operational tasks when required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, production, or logistics environment.
- Experience with stock control and inventory management systems
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Competent IT and data entry skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
- Positive attitude with a flexible and proactive approach to work.
- Experience with stock control and inventory management systems.
- Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
- Knowledge of production planning and logistics processes.
- Experience working within a fast\-paced manufacturing business.
