Practice Nurse, Maternity Leave Contract
Practice Nurse required in Mayfield for Maternity Leave Contract starting 4th August 2026\. Applicants must be registered with Bord Altranais. Part time role with flexible working days and hours. Previous experience in the role preferred. Cervical screening qualifications and phlebotomy essential. Duties would include, but not be limited to, administration of primary childhood immunisations, wound dressings, ear syringing, taking E.C.G.s, fitting 24 hour blood pressure monitors, cervical screening, chaperone duties, phlebotomy, administration of medications like depo\-provera, B12 and prolia.
This is a well supported role within a busy practice with up to 5 G.P.s, a phlebotomist and plenty of admin staff. Hours can be tailored to be mutually workable and salary is somewhat dependant on experience. The position might run longer than the expected 9 months if additional leave is taken by our present practice nurse but plenty of notice would be given if this is the case and changes to the contract could be made. Again, this is a flexible role and we are happy to tailor it for the right candidate.
Pay: From €25\.00 per hour
