Practice Nurse

We are an exciting, brand\-new primary care start\-up practice located in the heart of Cabra, Dublin 7\. Having just opened our doors, we are dedicated to building a modern, patient\-centered, and community\-focused medical clinic.
As we grow, we are looking for an approachable, committed, and professional Registered General Nurse to join our founding clinical team. Because we are a brand\-new practice, you will have a unique opportunity to help shape our clinical workflows, foster a warm patient environment, and grow alongside us.
Key Responsibilities
The role will encompass a diverse range of general practice nursing duties, including but not limited to:
- Phlebotomy and collection of laboratory samples.
- Childhood and adult immunizations (including seasonal flu/COVID campaigns).
- Chronic Disease Management (Cervical screening, diabetes, cardiovascular care, and asthma/COPD tracking).
- Wound care, dressings, and removal of sutures.
- Assisting with minor surgical procedures and triage.
- Maintaining strict clinical hygiene, sterilization protocols, and medical stock management.
Requirements
- Registration: Must hold an active, live registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
- Experience: Prior experience in a General Practice setting is necessary to be considered for this role.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient\-first mentality.
- Systems: Comfort or familiarity with GP clinical software (e.g., Socrates) is an advantage, though full system training will be provided.
- Compliance: Up\-to\-date certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Anaphylaxis training, and National Immunisation guidelines.
