Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our small, private healthcare clinic in a joint role as Practice Manager\& Registered Manager. Practice manager is independent job while Registered manager is job share with another person.

You’ll work closely with other employees to ensure the smooth day\-to\-day running of clinic operations, oversee compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, support staff and patients, and help lead business development initiatives to grow our clinic’s services and impact.

Duties \& Responsibilities

Clinical \& Operational:

• Manage appointment systems, staff rotas, diaries, and daily clinic logistics


• Act as Registered Manager, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and best practices


• Maintain records, process referrals, coordinate correspondence, and oversee documentation


• Support HR processes including recruitment, inductions, and absence monitoring


• Foster positive relationships with patients, staff, suppliers, and external stakeholders


• Oversee health \& safety protocols, risk assessments, and clinic policy reviews

Business Development:

• Contribute to service development planning, strategy meetings, and performance reviews


• Identify and implement opportunities to expand clinic offerings and reach new patient groups


• Monitor KPIs and assist with financial performance tracking and budgeting


• Support marketing efforts including social media, community outreach, and promotional campaigns


• Build relationships with local providers, insurers, and referral networks


• Help shape long\-term vision and sustainability of the clinic

Person Specification

Essential Skills:

• Background in healthcare administration or practice management


• Strong working knowledge of CQC standards or willingness to complete training


• Excellent IT, organisational, and communication skills


• Ability to manage competing priorities in a professional, calm manner


• Proactive, collaborative mindset with a readiness to contribute ideas

Desirable:

• Experience in business development or service expansion


• Familiarity with private healthcare settings and funding models


• Competence in digital marketing and social engagement tools
