Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, within the Sales \& Marketing Department, the Sales Trainee supports the Sales team while developing a comprehensive understanding of luxury hotel sales operations, client relationship management, business development, market analysis, and revenue generation strategies. The Sales Trainee reports directly to the Director of Sales \& Marketing and the Sales Managers.

As Sales Trainee, you will be responsible for the following duties:

1 Update all S\&M presentations when required.

2 Maintain stock of office supplies.

3 Maintain stock of gifts for sales calls and business trips.

4 Make departmental purchase orders and stock requests.

5 Review all VIP arrivals with the sales manager and coordinate welcome cards, amenities and allocation for travel agents.

6 To coordinate, with the sales manager in charge, all the FAM trips.

7 Update all the site inspections and events on the Handover.

8 Coordinate with reception the show rooms available for site inspections.

9 Assist all the sales team in any matter required.

10 Post BEO on the folders.

11 Helping with the set up and printing menus for the events.

12 Eventually, attend some Beo meetings.

13 Enter all business cards in data\-base (to keep mailing list up\-to\-date).
