PR Assistant

This is an exciting role designed for someone with a genuine passion for beauty, wellbeing and lifestyle, who is keen to learn the fundamentals of public relations within a fast\-paced agency environment. You will work across multiple client accounts, supporting the wider team with press activity, research, content creation and talent engagement, while developing strong foundations in media relations and communications strategy.

With close support and mentorship from our senior team, you will gain hands\-on experience across day\-to\-day account support, media monitoring, creative pitching and client communications. A strong work ethic, curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm to grow within PR are essential.

This role is ideal for someone at the start of their PR career. Prior experience is helpful but not essential, what's most important is a passion for writing, an interest in the media and our respective industries and a strong work ethic to keep up in a fast\-paced environment.

Salary: DOE / aligned with apprenticeship framework

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day\-to\-day running of client accounts with guidance from the senior team


• Assist with press outreach, research and media monitoring


• Help build and maintain relationships with journalists, influencers and talent


• Support the creation of press materials, pitches, press releases and written content


• Proactively contribute creative ideas aligned with media trends and awareness days


• Identify new opportunities for media coverage beyond the core client brief


• Track and report on coverage and media performance


• Support client and internal meetings, including preparation of notes and materials


• Stay up to date with the beauty, wellbeing and lifestyle media landscape

• A strong interest in PR, communications, beauty, wellbeing and lifestyle


• Relevant degree or qualification in PR, communications, marketing or humanities


• Confident written and verbal communication skills


• A positive, can\-do attitude with a willingness to learn


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well in a team environment


• Creative, curious and proactive in approach


• Comfortable working in a fast\-paced agency setting


• Friendly, professional and reliable

Pay: £26,000\.00\-£27,000\.00 per year
